Congratulations on completing Orientation! 

Now, what's next? Here are a few final steps to make sure you're fully prepared to start your first semester at SIUE.

• Continue working on your onboarding documents in the orientation portal.
• Review your schedule and financial status on CougarNet so nothing stands in the way of a smooth start to the semester. 
• Check the billing due dates, so you don’t miss your first payment!
• Don't forget to check the academic calendar for important upcoming deadlines—you don’t want to miss out on any key dates!
• Find a part-time job. Nearly 1,500 students find jobs on campus, and many more work off-campus. Student Employment lists job openings starting the last week of July. 
• Start thinking about how you want to get involved. Explore over 250 student organizations and find your community at SIUE. Getting involved on campus can make your experience more meaningful.
• Get to know your new home! Ranked among the nation's top 15 safest college towns, Edwardsville is a vibrant, student-friendly community.
