Celebrating Milestones and Building Community
At SIUE, we are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all students through our Campus Programs. These signature events celebrate key milestones in the student journey, foster a sense of belonging, and recognize the diverse experiences that make each student’s journey unique. Our programs are designed to bring the campus together, create lasting memories, and offer opportunities for collaboration across departments and with students.
Campus Programs
The Ask Me Program is here to welcome new Cougars to campus and make the start of the semester a little easier! During the first few days of classes, you'll see campus partners, faculty, staff, and students stationed across campus with "Ask Me" signs. They're ready to answer questions, help you find your classes, point you to campus resources, and ensure you feel supported. Whether you're looking for directions or just need a friendly face, we're here to root for you and help you start your SIUE journey with confidence!
The 100th Day of School marks a pivotal moment in the academic year, celebrating students’ hard work and perseverance. This event offers an opportunity for reflection, community engagement, and recognition of the academic journey. It’s a celebration of student accomplishments and a reminder of the resilience it takes to navigate college life.
National Transfer Student Week is a time to recognize the unique experiences of transfer students at SIUE. This week celebrates their academic journey, resilience, and the important contributions they make to our campus community. We offer resources, connections, and support to help transfer students feel at home and succeed in their academic and personal lives.

The First Generation Celebration is a campus-wide event that honors the achievements and experiences of first-generation college students. This celebration is rooted in the history of higher education and recognizes the determination, hard work, and unique perspectives that first-gen students bring to campus.
