Access database queries

Once the relationships have been set up, the data can now be aggregated into information through the creation of queries inside of the database. To help you understand queries, this section will cover:

    • What are they?
    • Why/when do we need them?
  • Creating queries using the wizard
  • Creating queries from design view
  • Setting criteria in queries
  • Creating calculated fields in queries
Once these steps are completed you will be ready to learn how to create queries and reports based on the tables.
