SIUE Chapter of SUAA Meet and Greet with State Senator Erica Harriss and SUAA Executive Director Bryan Soady
The SIUE chapter of the State Universities Annuitants Association (SUAA) hosted a meeting to introduce Bryan Soady, the new Executive Director of SUAA, to members. In addition, Erica Harriss, Illinois State Senator for the 56th District, provided an update on current legislative initiatives relative to higher education and pensions. Doors opened at 4:30 p.m., for informal mixing and mingling. Formal introductions of our speakers and presentations followed at 5:15 p.m. Each registered member attendee received one (1) complimentary drink ticket as part of their membership benefits. Hors d’oeuvres were also served.
