President’s Welcome
The main objective of the SIUE Chapter of the State University Annuitants Association (SUAA) is to preserve and advocate for University employee benefits, fair retirement plans and health insurance, and overall funding to higher education. Our active and dynamic chapter has nearly 500 dues-paying members amongst the 12,000 statewide members of SUAA.
We proudly represent all current SIUE employees, retirees, and their survivors in our advocacy work, educating members on important and timely topics, meeting with local and state elected officials and coordinating lobbying efforts with our main office in Springfield, located just blocks from the Illinois State Capitol Building.
The impact and success of our organization is dependent upon members like you who support our chapter and take an active role in advocating for our benefits. It will be my focus to ensure we are using our voice to protect the benefits for all current employees, future employees, retirees and their survivors.
