SIUE Chapter of SUAA Walk & Talk
SIUE employees enjoyed a beautiful afternoon learning more about the legislative priorities of the State Universities Annuitants Association (SUAA) advocacy organization with regard to their retirement and healthcare benefits. As annuitants (someone who is making or has made contributions toward their retirement into SURS each pay check ), individuals were also encouraged to let us know more about what is important to them.
Individuals met at our table located near the cougar statue outside the Morris University Center (MUC) at either 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. From their, they grabbed a water bottle and joined a SUAA colleague for a walk to The Gardens or around the campus core for 20-30 minutes or as long as they liked.
