Run the Wimba Wizard

Click on the "Setup Wizard" or "Run Wizard" link to test your computer.

The Wizard only needs to be run once but should be run on each computer that you use Wimba.

For Best Results:

• Always use headphones rather than speakers. Using speakers will cause a feedback loop so that your voice is recorded with an echo that is very distracting.
• Plug in your headphones and microphones before you begin the wizard.
• On older computers, you may need to set the "Speaker" setting to headphones. Consult your computer manual for instructions.
• Do not click through the Wimba Playback page and Recoding page until you have actually heard the audio and heard your playback voice after recording.
