Description:
The company wanted to switch their back office information from Excel to a database-driven web site. The database needed to keep track of leads, customers, jobs in progress, and payments made.
Challenges:
Migrating the data from Excel into the database will take some time. Determining a proper date-stamping method must be worked out.
Reflections:
The project is a good opportunity to utilize web development skills on a real-world application.
