Why SIUE?
I was accepted to Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville right out of high school in 2012.
My reason for going to SIUE was mainly because it had a major that captured my interest, Computer Management Information Systems.
SIUE also has a great business school and is located very close to St. Louis, Missouri, which I knew would lead to many opportunities.
Why CMIS?
I have always been fascinated by computers and technology in general ever since I was very young.
I have a tremendous passion for figuring out problems relating to computer technology.
I acquired this interest from my father who is an Advanced Systems Specialist at CGH Medical Center.
I am blessed to have received two internships during my time here at SIUE.
These internships have only confirmed my interest in my decision of pursuing a career in CMIS.
