Meet the Trainers
SIUE IMPACT Academy Trainers are selected via a competitive application process. As champions for diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice, they lead and shape efforts to cultivate a more equitable and inclusive campus.
How will you as a facilitrainer amplify the important work happening through the IMPACT Academy?
“As a supervisor, I am making sure my staff knows that these opportunities exist and encouraging them to participate as often as they can. I am also in the beginning stages of figuring out how to bring IMPACT Academy into the department to begin to build out the DEI training and content knowledge of the staff working in University Housing. IMPACT Academy in my eyes is the vehicle that will allow us to advance the DEI work that is desperately needed on our campus.”
