Interested in Becoming an IMPACT Academy Trainer?
Please fill out this IMPACT Academy Trainer survey! All faculty and staff are eligible to apply. Applicants are chosen based on several criteria, including a commitment to building an inclusive campus community and willingness to facilitate training sessions with other faculty and staff.
If selected, IMPACT Academy Trainers must complete NCCJ FaciliTrainer Certification Program. The 100+ hour educational experience prepares trainers to design and deliver thoughtful and engaging diversity, inclusion and equity educational content to others.
What does it mean to be an IMPACT Trainer?
- IMPACT Trainers are leaders in moving the campus toward its mission in being anti-racist and inclusive of all identities.
- An IMPACT Trainer develops and facilitates workshops for campus and community participants.
- After completion of the certification process, you will be required to complete six IMPACT Academy workshops (or the research equivalent thereof) during the calendar year after your certification
