Admission Information
Employees of our corporate partnerships may apply at any time. Applicants will be considered for admission to SIUE when their application and all transcripts are received.
Admission Requirements
- Complete application
- All official transcripts sent directly from school(s) to: Office of Admissions, Box 1047, SIUE, Edwardsville, IL 62026. SIUE accepts electronic transcripts at etranscripts@siue.edu if they are sent directly from institutions.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 (on 4.0 scale) in all college-level courses
Prerequisite Courses
The following courses are required before students begin the nursing courses. These courses are not covered through the agreement and students must show evidence of completion of these courses with a "C" or better prior to acceptance in the partnership program.
- Anatomy & Physiology I
- Anatomy & Physiology II
- Microbiology
Effective Summer 2018, a college level chemistry course is no longer required in the RN to BS program.
SIUE will verify students’ eligibility to receive tuition benefits from their employer. The University bills corporate partners for coursework. Students will be responsible for identifying any changes in employment status.

Blackboard
SIUE uses Blackboard as its Learning Management System. Students will enter Blackboard to connect with online courses.
