Website Vision Board

For my website, my main inspiration was the sea. I have never been a huge fan of the ocean, but when we did the Two Truths assignment, I came across some beautiful green colors that I really liked and went well together.

I want my website to have a minimalistic look to it because I do not want it to look too fancy or overdone; it can be hard one someone’s eyes, and they can lose interest very quickly. I am not very sure what it will look like in the end because I have not really looked into what exactly we will be discussing on our websites, but I am hoping that whatever we have to upload will allow my minimalistic vision to be doable. I want to change up from my Two Truths assignment’s layout of the colors (background is the sea green and fonts are dark green and white), but I am not sure if that would work. If the background is dark green, I am concerned that the font colors will not show up in the way that I envision since I have not actually tried it out yet. I also am concerned that having a super dark background will not be a good look in general. However, if I did go for a dark background, I would have my headings be the sea green color and the body paragraphs be white. If I go for the sea green background, my headings will be the dark green color and the body paragraphs will still be white. For my pictures, I went on Pinterest (all of the photos are from there) because I know how easy it is to find pictures of similar aesthetics.

All of my pictures have that sea green color in them, and my main header photo will be the long photo of the water turned sideways. As for my fonts, I was not sure where to go with them, so I just looked at the possible pairings that fontpair has to offer. I found a lot of good pairings, but they did not show up on my personal Google fonts. The pairing I landed on is Oswald as my heading font and Source San Pro as my body font. Lastly, I went with the same colors that I used for my Two Truths assignment. My sea green color’s code is #8fbc8f, my dark green color’s code is #18453b, and my white color’s code is simply #ffffff.
