Here are some writing and design samples I have done in my classes at SIUE. All design materials were created using Adobe InDesign. You can also see more of my writing on My Blog.

Design Examples:

Brochure: Financial Solutions Network - At my FSN internship I created them a brochure, which I was able to work on during my Technology Applications in PR class.
Newsletter: Hopeful Happenings - This a newletter design I created for Relay for Life in my Technology Applications in PR class.
Letterhead: Financial Solutions Network - I intern for FSN and these are some examples of different letterheads I have designed for them.

Writing Samples:

News Release - I wrote a news release for PRSSA Relay for Life team, The Purple PRoject. I was the Purple PRoject team captain and public relations director. This was pitched to the SIUE newspaper, The Alestle.
Feature Story - This feature story was on the success of my Relay for Life team. This was pitched to the SIUE newspaper, The Alestle and the SIUE Speech Communication newsletter.
News Article - This news article was written for my Applied Public Relations class. The feature story is about a condition created by social media in our world of technology called, "FOMO." I pitched this story to the Speech Communication newsletter at SIUE.
Pitch - I wrote a story on five unique ways to fundraise for Relay for Life. I thought this was a good topic to pitch to the SIUE newspaper, The Alestle, since Relay for Life was coming up.
Media Advisory - I wrote this for my Applied Public Relations class. I wanted The Alestle to know when Relay for Life was and the times for photo opportunities.
