Hobbies

1. Being with my family, fiancée and friends is my number one hobby. I wouldn't be where I am without them. The picture on the left shows my big brother, Nathan, my father, John, and my mother, Margarite at my graduation from Kaskaskia College. The picture on the right shows my fiancée, Brandon, when we were in Hawaii and he proposed to me.

2. I am a St. Louis Rams football fan! I am also very passionate about my internship with the St. Louis Rams. I am a Community Relations Assistant on game days and I am couldn't be happier with it. I enjoy that there is no typical day and that it challenges my public relations skills. My favorite players are Danny Amendola and Steven Jackson.

3. The Public Relations Student Society of America has become a new passion of mine. I am the Public Relations Director of the SIUE chapter. PRSSA offers many professional development and scholarship opportunities. I recently won the Lawrence G. Foster Award for Excellence in Public Relations 2012 and was the John D. Graham Scholarship Runner Up 2012 at the national conference in San Francisco. I also run the SIUE PRSSA Facebook page.

4. I am a huge Relay for Life advocate. The Relay for Life team I started is called, The Purple PRoject, sponsored by PRSSA. I am proud to say our team exceeded $1,500 goal, raising $2,484 for the American Cancer Society, putting the team 2nd out of 47 teams. In addition, we won the spirit award! This was our first year participating in Relay for Life and I am already starting to plan for next year.

5. Lastly, I have recently become addicted to crossfit at Crossfit Edwardsville.
