About Adopt-a-School Foundation

The "Adopt-a-School" Foundation is a national organization whose mission is to promote literacy around the globe. The foundation promotes the importance of reading in many countries in Asia, Africa, and in Indian Reservations in the Americas by raising money for all forms of educational institutions, including elementary schools, midde schools, high schools, and colleges/universities. Every donation helps schools pay for classrooms, desks/chairs, books, and other materials to better the educational experience of these students. Alpha Kappa Lambda has devited itself to the value of education in this wayby helping to raise funds for schools as well as promote awareness of a school in need.
