This website is designed for a variety of audiences including students, treatment providers, fellow researchers, and parents of children who may be struggling. On the following pages you will find information on some of the work that is done in my research lab, including the RSVP program that I developed for juvenile delinquent youth. This program can also be used with any pre-teen or teen group that is experiencing problems with stress, anxiety or anger. Other recent research is also highlighted, and I invite potential collaboration with others in my areas of interest. This website also offers help for some common problems that many parents face when dealing with their children. While some children have problems with "acting out", other kids may lack social skills and have difficulty making friends. Another very common problem with kids is homework time, so I have devoted a page to helping kids with homework as well. That page is organized by particular areas of advice, and includes information that has either been supported by the cited research, or comes from my own knowledge and experience. I hope that this website is useful to you and I invite your questions and feedback.
