Family.
My family is a huge part of my life. There's only four of us in my immediate family, but my extended family is huge. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times with my family because we all get together and just eat and enjoy each other's company.
I go on a lot of vacations with my family as well. My Grandma Connie lives in Juneau, AK, and we go to visit her quite often. We have been to Hawaii, London and Paris all on family vacations. We also love Disney World. Like an insane amount. I personally have been there 13 times, and my parents have been once without me.
As a family, we do a lot of things in St. Louis together. We love going to Forest Park and having brunch at the History Museum or the St. Louis Art Museum. My dad gets my mom season tickets to the Muny for Mother's Day every year, so our Fridays in the summer are taken up with that.
My sister is getting older, so it's easier for me to keep in contact with all of my family on a regular basis even though I'm at school. I love to go home for dinner and just to visit. My family is such a support to me, and I don't know what I would do without them.
Greek Family.
I always thought family had to be someone related to you or someone you have known for a long time until I joined a sorority. Then I got one hundred new sisters and they became my family. In AST, instead of "bigs" and "littles", we have moms and daughters. My mom is Katie (on the right) and my first baby is Carly (on the left). I also have a baby Hannah and a grandbaby Kitty.
These girls mean the world to me. Katie has been a role model for me through college. She is always around for me to talk to when I need her. I aspire to be a mom to my babies like she was to me. Carly, Hannah and Kitty make me have so much fun. These girls are full of energy and are so smart. I love them to death because they are my family!
