This collection consists of the music library, original and stock arrangements assembled by St. Louis radio station KMOX (CBS) during the period (1930s-1940s) when the station maintained a studio orchestra. In addition to the orchestra of 35 musicians, the station employed three professional arrangers, several copyists and a librarian. The collection as received contains some 48,195 titles, including orchestral, concert, and special arrangements, and a large group of twentieth-century sheet music. The KMOX collection was a gift to Lovejoy Library from the station, and is accompanied by the original card index.
