Spirit Contest Registration Information
Are you ready to show your Cougar Pride for this year’s SpringFest Spirit Contest? This year’s contest will have two categories: Student Organizations and Fraternity/Sorority Life organizations. The organization with the most points in each category will win a $300 prize and second place will receive $200. Sign up today to show your SIUE spirit!
To complete a 2024 SpringFest Spirit Contest registration go to Get Involved at SIUE. (Opens March 15)Registration is due Wednesday, April 10 by 11:59 PM. No registrations will be accepted after that date and no deadline extensions will be given! The events listed below are not the only events SpringFest has to offer, these are just the events open to all student participants.
Monday, April 15
Kickoff

Come out to the Quad on Monday, April 15th to celebrate an Era of Eddie! There will be great music, grilled bagels by Dave's Bagels, free SIUE Merch*, and so much more!

Tuesday, April 16
Eras Egg Hunt (Sponsored by MUC Marketing, the Morris University Center, and Campus Activities Board)
SIUE Campus
11:00 a.m. -2:30 p.m.
Follow along with Morris University Center social media throughout the day to receive clues leading to a Golden Egg! Clues will be posted every half hour until a swift individual finds the hidden egg!

Taylor Made, a tribute to Taylor Swift
The Meridian Ballroom
7:00 p.m.
Join us for a night of Taylor Swift Music with the premier Taylor Swift tribute band, Taylor Made!
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the show begins at 7:00 p.m.
Join us for live music, Revitalize beverages, photo opportunities, and a few fun surprises that are sure to give CAB a memorable reputation.
We expect this event to be popular! Attendance is free for students, but we do ask you to register for tickets ahead of the show.

SpringFest: Petting Zoo
Dunham Lawn
11:00 a.m.
Shake off the stress from classes and enjoy our petting zoo! There will be a variety of mini cows, horses, the big white fluffy dog and more... there will be up to 11 types of animals you can feed and pet at the petting zoo! We will also have cookies celebrating all of Eddie's Eras here at SIUE!

Kimmel Awards honor and recognize outstanding students, faculty, staff, and community members for their contributions in leadership, service, and involvement.
SpringFest: GlowRun (Sponsored by Campus Rec and Campus Activities Board)

Check-in at 7:00 p.m.
Run Begins at 7:30 p.m.
Join Campus Rec and Campus Activities Board for a 1-mile fun run, walk, or roll at the RecPlex! Snacks, beverages, and glow accessories will be provided. Celebrate the fun after the run by cheering on our intramural soccer and softball teams as they compete in the playoff games on the turn fields! We will also have light up games, friendship bracelet making, music, and photo opps available!

Join Chancellor James T. Minor, PhD, and the SIUE Family at the One Day, One SIUE Celebration as we “Give Today and Own Tomorrow". The event will focus on building successful collaborations with our faculty and staff, students, alumni and friends, and community partners.
One Day, One SIUE is the one day each year we ask you to consider all that SIUE means to you – yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Stop by the first floor of the Kimmel Belonging and Engagement Hub office in the Morris University Center for cookies*. We will be playing Taylor Swift's new album, The Tortured Poets Department throughout the day.
