Training Topics
We will offer one module (course) at a time, selected from the list in the Module Descriptions tab.
- Management Development modules are designed for people in leadership positions—first-line supervisor through director—AND for those who might want to become supervisors someday.
- Knowledge & Skills Development modules are appropriate for ALL employees—e.g., Working with the Boss; Time Management.
Eligibility
All SIUE employees—full-time and part-time—are eligible to attend.
- Though the modules were not designed for faculty or academic chairpersons, all SIUE employees are welcome to register if interested.
Duration
Each module will meet in-person once per week for 90 minutes. Most modules last 3 weeks.
Cost
The training is FREE to departments and to participants.
Approval Required
Please get your supervisor's approval for release time or an adjusted work schedule. (It is not our intent for anyone to have to use vacation time.) We do not require written approval.
Attendance Limitations
You may sign up for as many or as few modules as you want.
