Become a Moderator
The Sustained Dialogue (SD) Peer Moderator Program provides opportunities for student participation in learning and leadership experiences related to dialoguing across difference. Students participating in the SD Peer Moderator Program will learn how to use and apply effective skills to bridge divides by facilitating deep and ongoing interactions. SD Peer Moderators will also create a platform which allows for those from all backgrounds, beliefs, and perspectives to come together and address conflicts and create solutions to concerning campus issues. At a time when many on campus and in the country express a growing divide among its citizens as well as greater polarization, SD provides a way to connect. SD Peer Moderators provide an avenue for those who are interested, to come together, share and be heard in active sustained dialogue groups. SD Peer Moderators have the opportunity to advance student success and inclusive excellence at SIUE.
