Hannover 96 is the traditional sports club of the capital of the German federal state Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony).
Besides soccer being the most successful sport practised we also offer athletics, gymnastics, badminton, tennis,
table tennis, billiard (pool) and triathlon. Currently we have aproximately 11.200 members, but if you would like

Also please don't be confused by the color of the jerseys of our famous first league soccer team. Even though
the club colors are black-white-green the jerseys are traditionally kept in red. This is why the team is also
referred to as "the reds".
