Course 1: Storage Device Overview
Overview + Objective
This eLearning course will review two, popular laptop storage device technologies; hard drives and solid-state drives. The course will focus on the physical differences and similarities, and benefits of both technologies.
After completing the course, you will understand the characteristics of both storage device technologies and have the confidence to discuss the specifics with other individuals.
The course will feature three lessons with infographics and supporting instructional content, a review section, and a final quiz. The quiz will be multiple choice. If you earn a score of 90% or greater on the quiz, you will receive a gold star.
Before handling a storage device, ensure you are properly grounded to protect from electrostatic discharge (ESD).
