SYLLABUS COURSE DESCRIPTION This course addresses theory and practice of human resource selection and compensation and benefit programs. (B) COURSE SCHEDULE
COURSE REQUIREMENTS Since we only meet weekly, students are expected to attend class, be on time, and be prepared. Class participation and discussion is expected. Grading will reflect attendance and participation. Students are reminded of SIUE requirements regarding academic ethics and cheating, including plagiarism. Violations of regulations in this regard will not be tolerated. COURSE PROJECTS Throughout the semester students will be assigned projects such as problems or cases, some of which may require a class presentation. These may be carried out on a team basis. These projects will be developed and discussed in class to be prepared outside of class.
