Yvonne's '64 Letter, WaterlooWaterloo, December 16, 1964 Dear Emilienne, Maurice and I are happy to hear you are all well. I arrived from Lodelinsart on Tuesday the 15th at 1 am to find the letter had anived that morning. We send you all our best wishes and good health for the new year. My health is O.K. at present. Maurice is just not the same with his thrombosis. He's really not doing very well. It's very rainy here at the moment, which is very hard on him. Octave is doing a little better. He remains much of the time in Lodelinsart promoting the cinema. I still go there Tuesdays and return on Fridays. l still deal with all the paperwork at the cinema and it's really beginning to tire me. We're not twenty years old anymore! I'm also happy to hear that Robert and his wife have had yet another boy now totaling 2 girls and 4 boys. I have the photo now. The day will soon come when you'll be able to really count up the Andrisses in America. When I'm next in Binches, I will go to City Hall to get the copy of your father Arthur's birth certificate. There is a problem in that his name has 2 social security numbers. You will have to correct this. Robert, too. One really can't be sure what can come of all this since, as you know, Arthur, there are many questions regarding the inheritance. The fact that we, including Octave, are not poor and have no children, we just don't know only that we will miss it all, but I Just can't believe it. I have some bad news: the wife of Paul, Louise's boy, has died following operations for cancer. She was the daughter of Sirille [sp?] brother of my Aunt Corinne. When you write to Aime' send him, his wife and son my best wishes. At present, the cinema is quite slow, especially since television. In fact it's not going very well at all. We would like to sell it at a good price; we'll just have to be patient. Please send our regards and best wishes to Robert and his wife. For the two of you we send our warmest regards, I'll be sure to show Octave your letter. I've included some photos. Your cousins, Octave and
