Yvonne's '61 Letter, WaterlooWaterloo, December 14, 1961 Dear Emilienne, I take this moment to write hoping you are all doing well and wish you all health and happiness for the New Year. My wishes as well to Robert and his wife, and children and not forgetting Aime', his wife, and their boys. Things are the same here. I'm presently writing you from Loddinsart because the cinema is empty as we plan to sell it instead of continuing to rent (it's still under lease). We are going to redo the cinema. Octave, Maunce and I will open on Sunday, December 16. After 10 years we are back in the business. We hope it works out. We have a lot of work ahead of us and we aren't young any more. I'll let you know how it goes when the holidays are over. I hope to hear from you soon. I'm writing you a bit late because of all the work I've have putting the cinema in order. It's now 2 weeks that we've been working. I plan on showing quite a few American films. It's very late and I can't see and Octave and I are very tired. We send you our warmest regards from afar. Best wishes,
