Chris Bray's Record (1-0) - Video Highlights
IOWA CITY, Iowa (Ticker) -- Jay Feely's 22-yard field goal with
8:19 to play erased a two-point deficit and lifted Michigan past
Iowa, 12-9, in a Big Ten Conference matchup.
Tom Brady threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Tai Streets to cap
the first possession of the game for Michigan (3-2, 2-0 Big
Ten), which did not score again until Feely's clutch field goal.
The Wolverines added a safety in the final minute to cap the
scoring.
Iowa (2-3, 1-1) got a 49-yard field goal from Tim Douglas and
field goals of 29 and 28 yards by Zach Bromert -- all in the
second quarter. But the Hawkeyes got past midfield just once in
the second half and were unable to move the ball on the Michigan
defense.
Iowa managed just seven first downs and 159 yards of total
offense. The Hawkeyes converted just one of 13 third-down
opportunities.

three straight after dropping its opening two contests.

yards but was sacked four times. Tarig Holman and Matt Hughes
had 10 tackles apiece for the Hawkeyes.
