Foursquare

Foursquare is used to check in to places you have been and find new places around where you live. By checking in, you receive badges depending on how often you check in or where you check in at.

Check-Ins

When you check into a place there are a lot of things that you can earn. Foursquare partners with some locations in order to give discounts every time a person checks in. People could also earn badges for the amount of times they check in at a location. If you are the person to check in the most at a location, you become the mayor at that location.

Reviews

Foursquare also allows people to leave reviews of the places they visit for everyone to see. The reviews are useful in helping people find either places to go or places to stay away from.

Friends

Foursquare also allows you to see where your friends hang out and visit. It also puts together places you might like to visit. It is good for looking for entertainment in a new city.
