About Bailey Blair:

Hello, my name is Bailey Blair and I am a junior here at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. I’m 19 years old and live with my parents in Moro, IL.

Right now I work 20-30 hours a week at Gentelins on Broadway, which is located in downtown Alton on East Broadway. I’m the head busser and work every day we are open besides Thursdays.

In my free time I enjoy driving my car and flying model airplanes. During school I don't have a lot of time to work on airplanes but it does take up the majority of my summer days whenever I am off of work.

I don't have a lot of pet peeves but something I do not like to see is when someone wastes time. I believe that especially when working because I do not like having to do the same thing twice when it could have been done right the first time.

Right now I’m pursuing a public relations major along with a pre-law minor. I plan, after graduating from SIUE next spring, to attend the University of Illinois- Champaign to pursue a degree in the field of law.

Law has always interested me because of the many ways it can be used to benefit society as a whole. I think the idea of being able to help society and to help manage societal problems is the most interesting part of practicing law.

I have been around computer my whole life and using them and familiarizing myself with them has been something I have worked on as long as I can remember. During middle school, my school required all students to learn to use computers effectively and we were to learn to type without looking at the keyboard. I'm not a huge fan of social media platforms only because I feel some people disclose too much personal information about themselves.
