Professional Background
How long have you been at SIUE?
I came to SIUE for my bachelor’s degree in 2015 and have been here ever since.
How did you get here?
I have been a student with the university for both my undergraduate and graduate experience. I had recently worked with Campus Activities Board here at SIUE for my graduate assistantship and helped students to get more involved here on campus and learn of the different experiences they could become a part of.
What are you most passionate about professionally?
I enjoy building relationships with students and watching them grow and develop. I want students to be able to feel comfortable and that their experience matters just as much as everyone else’s.
What do you love most about working at SIUE?
SIUE is a place that allows students and even professionals to grow. There are opportunities and individuals who really care about the needs of students. Over time, SIUE has found different ways to be representative of student’s needs.
What are your primary duties in your current position?
Meet with students and help to advise them when selecting and declaring a major. I will also be building and maintaining relationships with my students to serve as a resource to them throughout their educational journey.

I grew up in Elgin, IL.
Any volunteer activities you're crazy about? Any non-profits you love?
I enjoy attending my local church. I also spent some time volunteering at the Good Samaritan House in Granite City and worked with some really kind and caring women.
