SIUE School of Nursing’s Bernaix to Pioneer Creative Curriculum and Expand Area Partnerships

The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Nursing continues to educate and prepare nurses to be expert clinicians and healthcare leaders. As dean of the School, Laura Bernaix, PhD, RN, intends to expand opportunities for SIUE School of Nursing students by way of inventive curriculum development and strong clinical partnerships.
Bernaix is an alum of the School, and has been a valued faculty member and administrator since 1987. She assumed the role of dean in May, after having served as interim dean since June 2014. She discusses the high-quality programs and clinical experiences the School offers and her vision for the future in this video.
