Esteemed SIUE Alumnus Receives Living Legend Award

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville alumnus Edward Hightower, PhD, is the recipient of a 2016 Madison County Living Legends Community Service Award. The award acknowledges those who have significantly contributed to the community.
Hightower has earned multiple degrees from the SIUE School of Education, Health and Human Behavior, including a bachelor’s in physical education in 1974, a master’s in educational administration in 1977 and a specialist degree in educational administration in 1991.
