SIUE Orientation

Orientation is your opportunity to jump-start your SIUE experience! This program is designed for all admitted first-year and transfer students, providing an introduction to the many resources available to support your success at SIUE.

SIUE Orientation Portal Access:

Transfer Students: Once you are admitted, you’ll gain access to the SIUE Orientation Portal. There, you’ll find your personalized task list and can register for orientation.
First-Year Students: After submitting your enrollment deposit (see below for steps to confirm your enrollment), you’ll gain access to the SIUE Orientation Portal. From there, you can access your personalized task list and register for orientation.

International Students: We warmly welcome you to SIUE! There’s no need to register for New Student Orientation or pay an Enrollment Deposit; you’ll receive important information and guidance from our dedicated International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) team. They are here to support you every step of the way!

Confirm Your Enrollment | First-Year Students Only

Follow these steps to confirm your enrollment and officially become an SIUE student!

Enter your username.
Enter your password or click 'Forgot password' and follow the steps to create a new password.
Click on 'View decision letter.'
Accept your offer of admission.
Click on "How to pay your deposit.' Your enrollment is confirmed once you pay the $190 enrollment fee.
Celebrate!

Activate Your eID

To access the SIUE Orientation Portal, you must activate your eID. Your eID is your key to unlocking SIUE’s online resources—your Orientation Portal, CougarNet, and SIUE email.

First-Year Students: You must pay your enrollment deposit before you can access the Orientation Portal. Once that’s completed, you’ll be all set to activate your eID.
Transfer Students: You can activate your eID as soon as you’ve been accepted to SIUE.

Need Help Activating Your eID?

Enter your Student ID (found in your acceptance materials).
Follow the instructions to create your password and security questions.

Access the SIUE Orientation Portal

Once your eID is activated, head to the SIUE Orientation Portal. Your personalized checklist will guide you through everything you need to do to get ready for your first day at SIUE.
