Lovejoy Library Begins Strategic Planning

Library faculty and staff participated in a one-day Strategic Planning Library Retreat on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. The retreat was facilitated by two Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) Consultants. The meeting was held in the Mississippi Room at the Morris University Center and was a positive, productive brainstorming session for the future of the library at SIUE. A Strategic Planning Working Group was formed and tasked with:
- gathering input from library faculty, library staff, and other campus stakeholders in drafting the strategic plan that addresses SIUE student, faculty, and partner needs and expectations;
- Communicating progress on the planning process to the library faculty and staff;
- And preparing a strategic plan for submission to the Provost no later than the end of January 2019.
