Training Partner
NCCJ St. Louis
SIUE is the premiere university to partner with NCCJ St. Louis by committing faculty and staff cohorts to the FaciliTrainer Certification Program (FTCP). NCCJ St. Louis has worked with individuals, organizations and institutions for over 85 years to empower leaders for diversity, inclusion, equity and justice in order to help them make an institutional change. SIUE’s commitment to this training is in alignment with the institution’s Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan.
“We're excited to graduate our first all-SIUE cohort from our FaciliTrainer Certification Program (FTCP). This is the first time [NCCJ St. Louis has] worked with a full cohort from a single institution. There's real potential here, and all of us will get to see what happens when caring, invested people in different departments and a range of roles use the same language, gain the same knowledge and skills, and are all committed to helping move an organization in the same direction, toward greater equity and inclusion. This cohort has been quite impressive, and we are looking forward to our next SIUE class as part of our ongoing partnership.”

“With this investment SIUE made and these amazing faculty and staff, the future looks a little bit brighter. There is still a lot of work to do, but because of NCCJ, we are in a much better position to do that work.”
