New Attendance Feature in Blackboard

Ever wished you could log attendance inside of Blackboard? Now you can! With Blackboard's new Attendance tool, faculty can mark students as "present," "late," "absent," or "excused" for class sessions and assign points based on course policies.
Once attendance has been enabled in Blackboard, a column is automatically created in the Grade Center. Points will sync to this column as attendance is recorded (e.g. "present" for 5 points, "absent" for 0 points). Like other columns in Blackboard's Grade Center, attendance points can be manually adjusted, if needed.
