ORP News recently highlighted several changes to sections of the NSF PAPPG becoming effective May 20, 2024 (NSF Summary of Changes to the PAPPG). Among the changes is an expansion to the Mentoring Plan which requires a mentoring plan for postdoctoral researchers or graduate students supported on the project (Chapter II.D.2.i (i)). The NEH Summer Stipends program continues to focus on stimulating new research in the humanities and its publication by supporting the work of individual scholars doing research or writing. NEH is introducing changes in eligibility requirements: the stipend amount is expected to increase to $8,000 and submissions will be limited to one per institution.
