UPDATE: NEH will not be opening the call for Juneteenth programming awards

On November 19, 2024, we received the following notification from NEH regarding the NEH Call for Proposals: NEH Chair’s Grants, 160th Anniversary of Juneteenth.
“Due to circumstances, the NEH will not be opening this call for Juneteenth programming awards after all.
If you’re still interested in applying for funding, we suggest you explore other NEH grant opportunities for cultural organizations such as Public Impact Projects at Smaller Organizations , Public Humanities Projects , and Preservation Assistance Grants for Smaller Institutions.”
