Our product is an osteoarthrosis knee brace specifically sized and designed for children/teens ages 13-17. We believe that this group is an underserved market that would benefit from an adjustable brace that can last them through their growing teen years and potentially into adulthood. The brace lengthens in the y-direction to grow as the child gets taller and allows for changing leg circumferences with a comfortable Velcro and neoprene strap that is easy to attach on the back of the thigh and the front of the calf. To accomplish the vertical lengthening, it utilizes a paracord pulley system that will allow the brace to lengthen for its user with a twist of a knob at the knee hinge.

The intended product of this project is a home irrigation system that utilizes an atmospheric water generator (AWG) as the primary water source instead of the public supply. The AWG generates water by using the humidity in the air by condensing the water vapors into liquid water. The AWG will be connected to a standard irrigation network with pipes and sprinklers or drippers. The AWG will passively use the humidity to generate water while the irrigation system is not operational and use the stored water it generated while the system is operational.

The Bar Maid is designed to provide a simple and useful solution to help augment bar staff and provide a solution to the throughput problem. The Bar Maid will function as an “automatic bartender” able to dispense simple mixed drinks (one liquor and one mixer) to customers without the involvement of the bar staff. This will reduce the number of drinks per shift that require bartender attention, therefore reducing the wait time for service and increasing the number of customers served in a shift. The Bar Maid shall provide premeasured “standard” drinks that will decrease losses due to overpouring, free drinks, and theft.
