The month of May is one of the most temperate months in Cuba, as June begins the rainy season in Cuba. The average high temperatures during the day are around 87°F (32°C) and average temperatures at night drop to around 70 degrees. The humidity is at an all time low during this month, which makes Cuba quite favorable to visit. In addition, the cool trade winds over the ocean make the temperatures quite pleasant.
Dress for summer and be sure to bring sunscreen. There will be opportunities to swim in pools so bring your bathing suits. Cuba is known for its great beaches. Good walking shoes are a must, since there will be a lot of walking while in Cuba.
The time zone in Cuba is the same as Eastern Standard Time and they do recognize Daylight Savings Time. They will be one hour later than St. Louis time.
