Nursing Immersion Course
Each student in the Health Care and Nursing Administration program has access to a short online orientation which introduces the basics of the program and all of the required online tools. This on-demand resource can be accessed from Blackboard. Students must complete the orientation to move forward in the program. SIUE Instructional Technology Services is also available to assist students and provides additional resources and individual student support.
Grades
As a part of the application, you have given permission for SIUE to share your final grades with your employer. SIUE will submit your final grades one week after they are submitted.
Drop and Withdrawal Policy
Students who find it necessary to drop a class must contact their advisor in writing (usually via email). The advisor will drop the student and email a written confirmation of the drop; the student should retain the communication for his or her records. Telling the instructor or not participating in the course does not constitute an official drop. Students in the Health Care and Nursing Administration program take 16-week fully online classes and the drop/withdrawal policy is below. Students who drop a course will be required to approve a new completion plan before registering for additional courses with the partnership program.
- 100% Refund - No Grade
- 50% Refund - W
- 0% Refund - WP (withdraw passing) or WF (withdraw failing)
- 0% Refund - Earned grade
