Congratulations to Josie Koch for being nominated and selected as Employee of the Month! Josie started working for Campus Recreation in July 2023 and has since become an integral part of the Campus Recreation Marketing Team as a graphic designer. She recently obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on graphic design and graduated on May 4th, 2024.
Josie's career objective is to work in graphic design while continuing to create artwork on the side for others. In addition to her role at Campus Recreation, Josie is an active member of the AIGA club – American Institute of Graphic Arts and serves on the CREC Connect Committee which plans team-building activities for Campus Recreation employees.
Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Josie enjoys reading, creating art, watching movies, hanging out with friends, and playing volleyball. When asked why she enjoys working for Campus Recreation, Josie shared that it provides her with a chance to exercise creative freedom beyond her coursework. She also appreciates the opportunity to meet new people and be part of a community outside of her academic and home life.
Josie's dedication and enthusiasm make her a valuable asset to our team, and we are thrilled to recognize her contributions this month. Congratulations, Josie!
