Primary Sequence M.A.S.H. Kits

#1 - Main Attraction - This kit provides interdisciplinary science, math, and language arts activities designed to help students become aware of magnetic forces and how they work. Grades K-1. IBM PC

#3 - Five Senses - Allows students to focus on each of the five senses through a variety of science, math and language arts activities. Grades K-1 IBM PC

#5 - Measuresaurus - Students will perform many linear, area, weight and volume measuring activities, leading them to conclude that standards must be used when comparing measurements. Grades K- 1 IBM PC

#7 - Our Watery World - A basic oceanography unit in which students discover the properties of salt and fresh water, and are given the opportunity to hatch and observe brine shrimp. Grades K-1 IBM PC

#9 - Butterflies - This unit provides students with the fascinating experience of raising and observing an animals it goes through its total life cycle. Grades K-1 IBM PC

#11 - A Peek At Plants - Students will distinguish living from non-living things in addition to studying plant characteristics, plant variety, and the ways plants are used. Grades K-1. IBM PC

#13 - You're All Wet - Students perform fun activities that let them observe the basic properties of water. Grades K-1 IBM PC

#15 - Colorful Chemistry - A variety of simple science experiments designed to help primary students observe and predict basic chemical changes. Grades 2-3 IBM PC

#17 -Rain or Shine - A basic weather kit that has students study temperature, winds and clouds and then chart these factors to make weather forecasts. Grades 2-3 IBM PC

#19 -Good Vibrations - The science of sound is examined through a variety of student made devices, leading to an understanding of how the human ear works. Grades 2-3. IBM PC

#21 -Rocky Business - The students are given the opportunity to explore the properties of rocks using a very simple format. Grades 2-3 IBM PC

#23 -Spaceports - Students explore outer space with activities that focus on the space program as well as the structure of the heavens. Grades 2-3. IBM PC

#25 -Schoolyard Safari - This kit has the students explore their own schoolyard to learn more about preserving and protecting their environment. Grades 2-3. IBM PC

#27 -Simple Machines - Actively using levers, inclined planes, etc., leads students to understand how machines reduce work. Grades 2-3. IBM PC

#29 -We Dig Dinosaurs - the fascination of children for dinosaurs enhances their understanding of how scientists use fossils to learn about these ancient animals. Grades 2-3. IBM PC

#31 -All Trashed Out - Through a variety of hands-on activities students discover that when it comes to trash, there is no such place as "away". They will explore ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle things in our trash. Grades K-3. IBM PC

#37 -Science For Young Learners - This kit includes the Mudpies To Magnets book and many of the materials necessary to do thirty science activities with a group of 15-20 young learners. Pre-School-1. IBM PC

PA1 -Elementary H.O.T.S. - This HOTS (Hands On Tests for Science) kit provides teachers with the materials necessary to assess an entire classroom of students on their ability to perform science. Grades 3-4. IBM PC
