Department and Music Scholarship Auditions

Steps for applying to SIUE and the Department of Music

• Prior to audition or to be considered for a scholarship, you must:
  1. Apply to SIUE.
  2. Apply for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  3. Apply to the SIUE Music Department by filling out the application below:
• Application Timeline:
  • If you apply by December 1 in the academic year before you intend to enroll in classes, you will be considered for academic scholarships.
  • If you audition by late February in the academic year before you intend to enroll in classes, you will also be considered for music scholarships.
  • You may apply & audition after February auditions, but music scholarship support might not be available.
