Learn about resources available to help you become a successful SIUE student. Gather information, explore and ask questions. Department representatives will be available in their offices after the resource fair until 4:30 p.m. if you have any questions later.

The Time is Now: Choose SIUE
Join us for coffee and conversation as current students reflect on their experiences at SIUE and share why they chose the University and what they wish they had known when making their college decision. Then, hear from staff about your next steps and how to make the most of Admitted Student Day.
10:15 a.m.-12:05 p.m.
Students and their guests will split for the remainder of the morning’s activities.
SIUE Academic Experiences | Students only
Immerse yourself in the classroom experience at SIUE by attending a couple of sessions related to their majors and interests. Select one session from Block #1 (10:20-11:05 a.m.) and one from Block #2 (11:20 a.m.-12:05 p.m.) that sound interesting to you. A detailed list of academic experiences will be shared at the event.

While your student may just be starting college, it's not too soon to learn how you can help prepare your student for career success. Join SIUE's Career Development Center for practical tips, best practices, and honest answers about your role in your student’s career development process at SIUE.
The Inside Scoop: Making the Transition
Gain insights, information, resources, and strategies for supporting your students as they enter and successfully complete their first year at SIUE. Our Student Affairs staff will share tips on making the transition easier for both you and your student and help you identify a few bumps in the road that families may encounter during the college transition.

Join the SIUE Police Chief, Dean of Students, and Directors of University Housing and Health Service to discuss safety, resources to help students live healthy lives, and programs that support students’ wellbeing.

Honors At SIUE: Explore the Opportunity, 1 p.m.
Learn about our distinctive curriculum, supportive community, research opportunities, and personalized academic support. Hear from current honors students as they share how the program has shaped their college experience. Then, we'll walk you through the steps to become part of the program.
Summer Success Program, 1:30 p.m.
This 5-week—July 5-August 8—residential experience allows incoming first-year students to earn 6 credit hours toward graduation, stay on campus, connect with peers in their incoming class, and explore various campus resources. And the best part? It's absolutely FREE!
