Lorene Andris, Mother
Ella Lorene Sullivan Andris
My
mother is easily the most important person in my life. As I have grown
older, one of the great joys of knowing her has been to help her remember
and honor her past. I wish I had started sooner and been more careful
about these details. A couple of times, she has written down stories for
me, and I have interviewed her many times. I also have access to her photograph
collection. So here is my reconstruction of her story, as much in her
own words as I can manage.
