CMIS 468 - Business Telecommunications

The primary objective of this course is to provide the student with a detailed understanding of computer network and telecommunications concepts and networking hardware.

Includes laboratory assignments to be conducted in the classroom virtual machine lab as a part of selected class meetings and the OpNet network simulation software. Registration for the OpNet software is an individual student responsibility and should be downloaded and installed on student computer hardware by the second class meeting.

This is a web enabled course.  Students will be enrolled in the Blackboard course management website upon enrollment in the course. Some course materials are only available in Blackboard.
 For summer 2012 semester, we  will be using bbpilot.siue.edu
