This is a photo of Russell Keister at the family owned confectionary in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. It is passed down through the family that Russell was born in 1896. This store was named "Keister Confectionary." The family lived upstairs from this store at the time. This photo was taken in the 1940's.
KATHERINE "KITTY" KEISTER (1898-1973)
This is a photo of Katherine "Kitty" Keister. Katherine's maiden name is De Barry. It is passed down through the family that Kathryn was born in 1898. Here, Kathryn is playing tennis which is particularly interesting because of the clothing attire that is worn while playing this sport.
