The University Police also provides a “vehicle assistance” service.  If you accidentally lock your keys in your vehicle, just call the Police Department at extension 3324.  The telecommunicator will need to know your name and where your vehicle is parked.  You must be the registered owner of the vehicle and must also sign a “Vehicle Assistance Release” form which states that the officer is not responsible for any damage done to your vehicle while attempting to gain entry.  The Police Department does offer jump starts to inoperable vehicles through the Parking Services Department or jumper cables can be borrowed from the Police Department.
